SASSA Status Check for SRD R350 Payment

As we near the end of  2021, December is the fifth month of the recently restored SRD R350 grant for August 2021. 
 

Most applicants are on hold when they check their status online and wonder when they  will be approved and paid later. 
 

As with these grants, each application must go through a monthly review process  before being approved. This is a clear sign that SASSA is working in the background to review all applications to see if you are still eligible for the grant.  According to 
 

SASSA, these grants are primarily for people who are really in pain and need help, but not  for people like Santa Claus. 
 

People pending review last week may change their status to Approved or Denied this week or next week.

If you agree to a payment date, please ensure that your bank account information is verified. However, the recipient at the post office needs to check the last three digits of the social security number and know the date to visit the post office.  Are you an applicant for a SASSA SRD R350 grant and are you currently eligible for a monthly grant starting August 2021? December 2021 SRD R350 grant. Do you get subsidies at the post office with a ID? Payments made at the post office are currently classified as the last 3 digits of the resident registration number, and can only be received by visiting the post office if the payment date is approved. 
 

Don't go unless it's your turn to pick it up. Also, it would be better if you could contact the post office to see if they actually have the funds to collect, or, better yet, to know which post office has the funds. The date of December is displayed below using the last three digits of the ID number.
