Method 1: Uninstall Recently Updated/Installed Apps

After installing or updating apps, the LG IMS dialog may pop up. In settings, you can view all installed apps and see if any have been updated or installed recently. The message issue might stop once you have completed the above steps.

Method 2: Change the IP Version using the Hidden Menu

  1. Call 277634#*# to access the hidden menu.
  2. Tap on " "
  3. Change the setting to "IPV6V4" or "IPV4V6."

You can disable the flight mode if the "Unfortunately LG IMS stopped" message keeps appearing.

Method 3: Factory Reset Your Mobile

Many people don't like factory resetting their devices because it involves setting up the device again. However, if the message is still not working using method 1, you can factory reset the device and the message should disappear.

  2. Tap on the Field test > Modem Settings > VoLTE On/Off
  3. Disable IMS now and restart your phone.

Method 5: Install a Stock or Custom ROM

Installing a stock or custom ROM can be a bit difficult for those with less technical knowledge. You can choose which one to flash but we recommend sticking with the stock Rom.
