The local government of Mandaluyong City penned a data-sharing agreement with its neighboring cities to strengthen its data collection and contact tracing system amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Menchie Abalos said last February 2021.

Abalos has signed a memorandum agreement (MOA) that outlines the application for tracking contact in the city, MandaTrack, will be integrated with Valenzuela's ValTrace, Pasig's PasigPass as well as the Antipolo Antipolo Bantay COVID-19 systems for tracking contacts.

The MOA allow the cities share contact tracking systems, and requires users to download only one QR code for each of the four cities, which results in a simpler and consistent tracking of contacts by the local authorities.
